Roots to Tails is a community-led initiative in The Oaks, Limpopo, South Africa where the Marula tree becomes a lifeline for women and animals. By transforming the gifts of the Marula tree into sustainable products, it empowers unemployed women in rural communities of The Oaks , creates income, independence and a shared commitment to animal welfare in their community

Our high quality marula jelly is packed with deliciousness and free from artificial preservatives; it’s perfect on toast, cheese boards, or swirled into yoghurt. As part of our Roots to Tails project, every jar supports community foraging, ethical sourcing, and the full use of native ingredients from root to fruit. It also supports the livelihood of the women who made the jelly and the dogs in the communities where the Marula was sourced.
